What To Expect

This unspoiled family farm is in a truly tranquil setting and has the natural beauty of the Hennops river flowing through a valley surrounded by mountains. This hiking adventure features two suspension bridges and a cable car for river crossings which makes this hiking adventure even more fun. Along the trails, you will find interesting historical sites such as an underground cave, old settlements, and dolomite mines. Hennops hiking trail consists of 3 trails:

Dassie Trail

A short, easy 2.5 km route suitable for beginners and families. Takes about 1-2 hours to complete.

Zebra Trail

An easy to moderate 5 km trail with a slight elevation gain, offering views of diverse wildlife. Takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

Krokodilberg Trail

The longest trail at 10 km, taking 3 to 4 hours to complete with a moderate to difficult terrain and a significant elevation gain.

After our hike, we will head to the Picnic Spot by the Hennops river, where you can unleash your inner Picasso for a painting session. This session is suitable for all artistic levels, from those who have never picked up a paintbrush before to advanced artists.
